Property Solutions is the UK’s leading commercial service charge consultancy and has sought value-for-money service charges for its' clients since 1992
Service charges are the common costs of operating and maintaining the fabric and services of multi-let buildings and are normally paid by all tenants as set out in the lease.
UK office service charges are circa £4.5billion p.a. and are increasing faster than inflation. During an economic downturn rents stabilise or fall. Service charges continue to rise inexorably.
Under the terms of the typical lease it is the landlord’s responsibility to provide the services and the tenant’s responsibility to pay. This relationship leads to potential conflicts of interest which may result in poor quality services, high costs or both.
Property Solutions was established in 1992 to seek value-for-money service charges and provide clients with a range of consultancy services to improve the management of service charges, particularly for clients with a portfolio of office properties such as banks, financial services and other services companies.
