As a placement student you gain insight into how marketing strategies can make a real impact on a smaller business in terms of business development. The placement offers invaluable learning opportunities because you can work alongside senior management and learn a lot about running a company. It’s a friendly environment in which you are offered challenging work and various opportunities for development.”

Nana Asamoah, April 2014 – October 2014 My time with Property Solutions as a Marketing Analyst was very educative and interesting. Prior to my work there, I had very little knowledge on the property industry and even less knowledge on service charges. However, at the end of the placement, I had understood not only how the industry works but more importantly, the relationship between the various elements of the industry. It was interesting to discover the impact service charge management has on business efficiency. It also served as a period for self development and improvement. Through undertaking various tasks and responsibilities, I developed transferable skills that will certainly be useful for any and every career. Property Solutions has a warm and inclusive corporate culture, so your opinions and contributions are encouraged and valued. I am glad to have been part of a wonderful, supportive team and am grateful for the experience.

Amy Readman: February 2010 – July 2010 I am half-way through my placement at Property Solutions and already I am confident that this experience has enhanced my university education and vice versa. The placement has given me the chance to consolidate my theoretical knowledge and apply it practically within a real life business environment.  I will be taking a lot from Property Solutions into my final year of study.

Melissa Stuart: February 2010 – July 2010 Following our comprehensive induction, we were immediately given the Business Plan as one of our main projects. Our role was to evaluate our current position within the market and identify and assess opportunities going forward for the next three to five year span. Being trusted with such a big responsibility so early on in the placement made me feel like part of the team and that I could really make a valuable contribution to the business.
