Proposing a positive way forward to improve landlord/tenant relationships and create better value-for-money service charges.
Two studies have been undertaken by teams of MBA students from London Business School to ascertain and analyse the views of industry stakeholders including landlords, tenants, agents, RICS members and others. The purpose of this research is to determine an agreed way forward for the industry to achieve improvements in the management of office buildings and service charges.
The second LBS research project was released at Property Solution's service charge seminar on 26th November 2009. The report carries out a macro-economic analysis of the effect of the credit crunch and resulting economic downturn on commercial multi-let office property focusing on service charges and determines how the effects of the financial crisis are impacting different stakeholder groups. It is now available for download at the bottom of this page.
