Michael Slade FRICS, aged 60, is Chief Executive of Helical Bar plc, a UKlisted
property development and investment company.
Helical Bar mixes state-of-the-art commercial development with an actively
managed investment portfolio. A member of the ‘Footsie for Good’, Helical
have been awarded many prizes and commendations for innovative and
occupier friendly schemes, winning the plaudit of residents and local action
groups whilst carrying through ‘sensitive projects’.
The investment portfolio covers all sectors and geographies: City and West
End offices, retail parks and town centre malls, industrial estates and a variety
of residential holdings.
Michael is married with three children and lives in Kensington, London and
Lymington, Hampshire. |
He is well known for his enthusiasm for yachting and launched a 100ft water
ballasted ocean racer in 2000, on which he completed the Rolex
Transatlantic Yacht Race in June 2005. He is an enthusiastic supporter of the
many sports enjoyed by his family and is heavily involved in raising funds for
charity. He is President of Land Aid, a property industry charity raising funds
for the homeless.
